Orin Walker - Guitar
Orin Walker grew up in the midwest states of Nebraska and Colorado where he used to sneak into his older brother’s room and listen to his LPs of bands like Ted Nugent, Boston, Molly Hatchet, and Marshall Tucker (thank god he never got caught).
He started playing guitar at the age of 15 when his Aunt dug up an old beat-up acoustic guitar from her attic. Shortly after, his high scool friend introduced him to the electric guitar, and his life has never been the same since.
He borrowed $30 from his grandmother to buy an electric guitar and started playing in church and in the band "Fortress", he played throughout high school, culminating in taking in second place in the battle of the bands.
Orin continued to play guitar in church and for various special projects over the years until he was invited to play for a Relay For Life event at the North Florida Fairgrounds in March of 2006. He and the rest of the band named themselves "decrepit" as a joke and practiced for two months prior to the gig. The performance was great success. About three months after the performance, Walter Wilczek and Orin, formed the band Blacksheep.
Orin has an intense passion for music and most notably blues based music. Inspiration for his playing has been gathered from various artists including Jimmy Hendrix, Muddy Waters, Led Zeppelin, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Chris Duarte, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pearl Jam, and Stone Temple Pilots
